📍 About Mount Hua

Mount Hua (华山), also known as Xiyue or Taihuashan, is one of the Five Great Mountains of China and a birthplace of Chinese civilization. Famous for its breathtaking cliffs, dangerous hiking trails, and rich cultural heritage, Huashan is regarded as the most precipitous of China’s sacred mountains. The phrase “Since ancient times, there has only been one road up Mount Hua” perfectly captures its legendary steepness.

Attraction Highlights

  • Five Famous Peaks:

    • 🌅 East Peak (Chaoyang Peak) – Best spot to watch the sunrise.

    • 🌸 West Peak (Lotus Peak) – Romantic and legendary, known for the myth of Chenxiang splitting the mountain.

    • 🏔️ South Peak – The highest point of Huashan at over 2,100m.

    • ☁️ North Peak (Yuntai Peak) – Surrounded by cliffs and clouds, offering panoramic views.

    • 🌿 Middle Peak (Yunu Peak) – Peaceful and green, with Taoist temples.

  • Thrilling Adventures: Walk the Changkong Plank Road, a wooden walkway clinging to cliffs, or challenge Canglong Ridge’s steep stairway.

  • Cultural Sites: Visit Xiyue Temple, where emperors once worshipped, and explore over 210 cultural relics and scenic spots scattered across the mountain.

    • Take the West Peak cable car up and down. Energy-saving and suitable for families.

  3. West Up & North Down (~6 hrs)
