Completed in 1994, it has come to symbolize China’s modernization and emergence on the global scene. Visitors travel up and down the Oriental Pearl Tower in double-decker elevators that can hold up to fifty people. Located on the tower’s lower levels is the Shanghai Municipal History Museum. 1. All visitors must register their real names before entering the park and present their original ID card (Resident ID Card of the People's Republic of China) when entering the park. The ID card will be used for ticket inspection and gate swiping (the ID card must be consistent with the certificate information filled in when purchasing the ticket)
2. When you purchase tickets, Shanghai Oriental Pearl Radio and Television Tower needs to collect your ID number, name and contact information. The information you provide will be kept confidential. If you refuse to provide personal information and contact information before entering the park or have other circumstances that prohibit entry to the park as mentioned in the admission notice, you may not be able to enter the park. Except for legal requirements or in cooperation with government inspections, we will not share, provide or disclose any information you submit when purchasing tickets.
3. A maximum of 5 tickets can be purchased with the same mobile phone number and on the same travel date. Children can use adult ID to purchase and enter the park together.
4. The ticket is valid for the travel date and timeslot time selected at the time of purchase and will be invalid upon expiration. It can only be used once. After taking the elevator down the tower, you cannot go up the tower again.

If a cancellation request is submitted before 10:00 on the usage date, no fee will be charged for cancellation.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 10:00 on the usage date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
If a discount is applied, the fee will be calculated as a proportion of the pre-discount price. It will not exceed the amount actually paid.
